WHAT IS WATER BAPTISM?
The Bible says that all professing Christians should be baptized (Matthew 28:18-20). Whether you've been following Jesus for a long time and never got baptized or are a new Christian, we would be honored to baptize you!
Water baptism is a powerful reminder of Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection to save humanity from sin, defeat death, and secure eternal life for all who will believe in and follow Him. (Romans 6:3-4) We believe that when a believer in Jesus Christ is baptized in water, they are making a public declaration of their faith in Him (Acts 8:36-37), acting in obedience to Jesus’ command to be baptized (Mark 16:16), and following the example He set (Matthew 3:13-17).
WHAT DOES WATER BAPTISM LOOK LIKE AT TDN CHURCH?

Believers being baptized will be asked to give a public testimony and declaration to follow Jesus. As a congregation, we are excited to celebrate this special event with you and encourage you to invite your family and friends.
Baptism is an important step of obedience that shows others we have personally trusted Jesus for our salvation. Jesus was baptized when He was on the earth, and we do this to follow His example. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. (Galatians 3:27) When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. (Acts 19:5)
