Covenant of Ministry

As a worship team, we covenant together to uphold and maintain godly standards according to the Word of God. We commit to living lives of holiness, integrity, and dedication to honoring God in in the church and in the community in all that we do. We acknowledge that worship ministry is an incredible privilege granted to us by God. We understand that this privilege can be revoked if there is misconduct, moral indiscretion, or bruising of testimony. Church leadership reserves all rights to remove individuals who have violated this covenant. We commit to upholding the standards outlined in this covenant and strive to honor God in all that we do as members of the worship ministry.

Practical commitments
1. Faithfulness to church service
2. Attending prayer meetings
3. Tithing


➢ Our commitment to these standards is rooted in the following spiritual references:

1. 1 Peter 1:15-16 - 'But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: "Be holy, because I am holy."'
2. Colossians 3:17 - 'And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.'
3. 1 Timothy 4:12 - 'Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity.'
4. Philippians 4:8 - 'Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.'

5. Malachi 3: 10 - ‘Bring one-tenth of your income into the storehouse so that there may be food in my house. Test me in this way,” says the LORD of Armies. “See if I won’t open the windows of heaven for you and flood you with blessings.’

In signing this covenant, we commit to upholding these standards in our personal lives and in our ministry as worship leaders. May our worship be a pleasing offering to God and a source of inspiration and encouragement to all who encounter it.
